- Experience working with Unix/Linux, Windows or macOS environments, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval and TCP/IP
- Experience programming in C, C++, Java, or Python
Skill Set
- knowledgeable in C, C++, Java, or Python programming languages.
- functional understanding of Windows, macOS, and Unix/Linux environments.
- knowledgeable about TCP/IP, machine learning, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
- solid familiarity with algorithms or data structures.

- familiarity with computational technologies, storage, hardware architecture, and/or experience designing and constructing large-scale
- infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.
- Excellent communication abilities both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Research, conceive, and develop software applications to extend and improve on Google’s product offering.
- Contribute to a wide variety of projects utilizing natural language processing, artificial intelligence, data compression, machine learning, and search technologies.
- Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information.
